Michael and his wife, Sara have two children and live in Colorado. After graduating from Texas A&M, Michael worked for a para-chuch ministry called Young Life. During that time he developed a friendship with Jack Deere, author of Surprised by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Michael worked with Jack at Wellspring Church leading the healing ministry, and he traveled with Jack to minister in other churches. After years of ministering in various contexts, in 2020 Michael moved to Denver Colorado from Texas to plant a church called Reclamation Church, where he serves as elder and teaching pastor. In addition to pastoring and serving as a board member for CCN, Michael also co-hosts The Remnant Radio podcast and travels nationwide for conferences and speaking engagements to minister, train, and equip churches and leaders in the gifts of the Spirit.
