Michael has been married since 2004 to Alicia, and together they have four children: Anna, Hudson, William, and Molly. Michael graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and worked for a brief stint in Finance. Michael was a part of the pastoral team at Wellspring Church, a "Word and Spirit" church in North Fort Worth, Texas led by Jack Deere for seven years, and traveled worldwide training churches in the gifts of the Spirit. Michael served as Lead Pastor at Wellspring from 2012 through 2021, until moving to OKC. Michael served as Lead Pastor of Bridgeway Church from 2022 to 2024. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for CCN and co-hosts The Remnant Radio podcast. Michael continues to equip church leaders across the nation in implementing the gifts of the Spirit in their congregations through conferences and speaking engagements. Michael is working on the writing of his first book, and enjoys sports, the outdoors, playing the djembe, reading, dad jokes, and soaking for too long in his hot tub.
